Welcome to the Family!

In the past few weeks we gained a niece and a nephew! Chris' sister recently had a baby boy (sorry, no pictures yet because she lives in Florida) and Jamie's sister adopted their second girl last week. I got to go play aunt for an hour. She sleeps so soundly (but with her sister almost 2 years old, she'll need to sleep soundly!).

We were able to spend Christmas with Chris' family in California. While we were there, we also got to visit Jamie's grandparents.

Gingerbread Houses

We got to go to California for Christmas to visit with Chris' family. It was exciting because his other two brothers were there at the same time and it's been ages since we've seen all of them. I must admit, my favorite part was playing with our 5 year old nephew and 8 year old niece. They had enough people making sure that they behaved (parents and grandparents) that we just got to spoil them. :) They are so sweet! Chris had a great idea to make a gingerbread house together:
